Iris Lim

Postdoctoral Researcher, Department of Anthropology and Sociology, SOAS, University of London

Iris is a researcher examining the lived-experience of governing technologies by marginalised populations, focusing on public sector user-experiences. She holds a Ph.D. in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, funded by the Korea Foundation Fellowship. Her work advocates for critical policy approaches and building partnerships between universities, policymakers, and communities. She is currently the UK Lead on a 3-year, ESRC funded project partnering with the Food Foundation, examining digital food assistance for marginalised populations in the UK, India, and Sudan.
