Iro Konstantinou

Researcher-in-residence, University of Warwick

My research interests focus around education and the study of society at large.
I have recently completed a PhD at the University of Warwick, at the department of Sociology. For my thesis I conducted an ethnography at a private school, looking at questions of class, race, and tolerance within white, middle-class localities.
I have completed an MA in English Education, looking at how international students experienced studying in English universities - taking a sociocultural approach, believing that social interactions affect our experiences.
I am a member of the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender at the University of Warwick and contribute to their blog about gendered experiences in education.
