Ismaeel Yunusa, Pharm.D., Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Outcomes Sciences. Before joining the University of South Carolina, Dr. Yunusa worked as a Senior Scientist in Health Economics and Outcomes Research at Policy Analysis Inc. Brookline, Massachusetts.

Dr. Yunusa profoundly cares about improving the health of the general public, and he is passionate about optimal pharmacotherapy in vulnerable populations, especially geriatric patients. Among other professional organizations, Dr. Yunusa is a member of the American Public Health Association (APHA), the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), and the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE).
