Ivor Shapiro is a full professor at Ryerson University’s School of Journalism and Senior Fellow of the Centre for Free Expression. He conducts research into journaflists’ professional identity and values. Ivor is a past chair of the ethics advisory committee of the Canadian Association of Journalism, and founding editor of J-Source.ca. Prior to coming to Ryerson, he was a magazine journalist; he was a contributing editor of Saturday Night magazine and managing editor of Chatelaine.
