Jagannadha Pawan Tamvada

Associate Professor of Strategy and Innovation, University of Southampton

Dr Jagannadha Pawan Tamvada is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton Business School. He has interdisciplinary research interests in entrepreneurship, strategy, and sustainable business. His research breaks new ground in understanding the role of business in society. He is a co-founder of iPowerz, the digital ecosystem for micro and small business growth, and a Steward at the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.

Previously, Pawan was on the faculty of Aston Business School and held visiting fellowships at Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management. He has a PhD from the University of Goettingen, Germany, funded by a Max Planck Society scholarship, for which he was awarded the best dissertation award of the Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics (DRUID) and the Otto Hahn Medal.

Pawan has published in leading journals, including the Journal of Business Venturing, Business & Society, Small Business Economics, Regional Studies, The Journal of Technology Transfer, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Business Venturing Insights, World Development Perspectives and MethodsX.
