Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Wisconsin-Madison

I'm a freshwater ecologist working as a researcher at the University of Wisconsin - Madison Center for Limnology. As a homegrown midwesterner (Minnesota), I'm honored to do research that directly benefits the midwest's lakes - luxuries that are largely unparalleled anywhere else.

My doctoral work focused on the ecological and economic impacts of an invasive species on Madison's Lake Mendota. I was surprised to see it reveal how much Madison care's about its biggest lake and just how much damage invasive species can inflict economically.
