Jakob Povl Holck

Research Librarian, University of Southern Denmark

As a research librarian at the University Library of Southern Denmark I've had the opportunity and privilege to discover more than 100 fragments of previously unknown medieval manuscripts as well as pieces of rare prints in our special collections. The fragments were primarily discovered as part of the bindings of 16th and 17th century books.

I am very fond of identifying these texts (mostly written in Latin). In addition, I like to initiate advanced book analyses with the help of the natural sciences at the University of Southern Denmark as well as the Danish machine building industry.
