I am currently Reader in International Political Economy (IPE) at the University of Warwick. My work engages the politics of globalisation with a focus on questions of ethics, governance, crisis and resistance. I have an ongoing interest in the role of the everyday and popular culture in global politics, especially 24hr news/social media, film, and comedy. My new book: 'The Ironic State: British Comedy and the Everyday Politics of Globalization' is forthcoming with Bristol University Press.
