I have been working in the fields of genetic engineering large animals and horse genetics/genomics for over 30 years, and to date have authored or co-authored over 170 peer review papers. Finally, I have chaired the committee that has organized 10 Transgenic Animal Research Conferences, a biannual international research conference focused on the genetic engineering and gene editing on non-murine animals.
