James Edward Huchingson

Professor Emeritus and Lecturer in Religion and Science, Florida International University

Studied at Georgia Tech. B.A, in history, Emory university. NDEA Fellow in the history of science and technology, Case Institute of Technology. M.Div. and PhD in religious studies, Emory University. Chair of Religious Studies Department, full professor, and professor emeritus, Florida International University. Worked for the Boeing company, Cape Canaveral, Florida and NASA Headquarters, Washington, D.C. Author or coauthor of three books and thirty-plus articles in the field of religion and science. Recipient of five excellence in teaching awards from the Templeton Foundation, the Florida Humanities Council, and Florida International University.
