Research Fellow, Horizon Digital Economy Research, University of Nottingham

Dr James Goulding is a Computer Science Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham. He has a BSc in Econometrics and, following award of his PhD in Data Theory in 2008, has specialized in novel forms of data science: analysis, visualization and mining of massive data sets, focusing on extracting value from the digital shadow. He currently runs three EPSRC funded projects covering different aspects of this field: Neo-demographics, Information Geology and Projected Augmented Relief Models.
