Senior lecturer, Department of Information Systems, University of the Western Cape

James is a recognized authority in Information Systems, mainly information systems education. His experience has been built critical and empathetic engagement with people – mainly my students and the experience is grounded research and training in complex, diverse and dispersed environments. He is very dynamic, flexible and adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. James holds a PhD in Information Systems, and is currently a senior lecturer with more than 10 years lecturing and research supervision experience. He is continually working with students and in community projects mainly in the areas of digital innovation for social inclusion, as well as creation of digital enterprises for social inclusion. His research also covers Technology in Education.
