Assistant Professor of Economics, Lund University

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Lund University. In my research, I examine the determinants of and payoffs from human capital, in particular education and health. Geographically, my work covers both developed countries, especially in Europe, and developing countries, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Some questions I have tackled are: Which teaching practices are best for promoting student learning at school? How do your childhood peer affect your education in the long run? Do longer working hours affect our health? Is preschool really worth it?
