Associate Professor Jana Bowden is Chair of Ethics, and a specialist in consumer psychology and consumer engagement at the Macquarie Business School, Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining Macquarie University, Bowden worked in market research with a focus on brand strategy, customer service and satisfaction in the FMCG, and services sector. Bowden is an active researcher in the areas of services marketing, retail marketing and social media engagement. Bowden is recognised for her work assessing and measuring online and offline positive and negative consumer engagement and she is a regular contributor to the news media on the consumer experience. She currently serves on the Editorial Board for the European Journal of Marketing.
