Jane Kuehne

Dr. Kuehne's research interests include sight-singing/music reading in choral classrooms, equitable access to music education (with colleague Guy Harrison), effects deficit language in on pre-service music educators' views of families and students, effects of early and across-degree teaching experiences on pre-service music teacher development, race and equity conversations in education classrooms, music psychology and music and the brain, effective use of technology in music instruction/education, and several other areas. She teaches courses in a variety of areas including music teaching methods, urban and rural education, music psychology, music technology, music education philosophy, and other areas.
