Jane's background is in medical statistics. Her research involves analysing large epidemiological datasets and genetic epidemiology. She has worked on a wide variety of projects, including investigating diet and bone mineral density in postmenopausal women, prior anticoagulant therapy and mortality in stroke, dietary garlic intake and hip osteoarthritis, fracture incidence and lifestyle and dietary factors, alongside vitamin intake and sarcopenia. Jane is also a member of Royal Statistical Society and part of the Population Health Group at the University of East Anglia.
