PhD Candidate, University of Bristol

The focus of my PhD is on the factors influencing young people to initiate and continue to use e-cigarettes. I am also interested in how e-cigarette use impacts smoking behaviour.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Hull in 2012 and completed a masters in Health Psychology at the Universtity of Bath in 2014. Following this, I worked as a research assistant for the Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group at the University of Bristol for two years before commencing my PhD in 2016. My PhD is a 4 year studentship with the MRC Intergrative Epidemiology Unit (IEU). The focus of my PhD will be on the factors influencing young people to initiate and continue to use e-cigarettes and investigate how this information can be used to inform interverntions in the future.
