Jean-Pierre tries to understand the Universe by any means at his disposal.
He works at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, Curtin University and is a member of the ARC Centre of Excellence for All-Sky Astrophysics.
He particularly likes working at the interface between observational and theoretical astrophysics, having come to the realisation that a good grasp of theory is necessary to understand your own observations, and that you need to be able to undertake your own observations to test your own theories.
