Jean Strelitz

Dr Jean Strelitz is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cambridge MRC Epidemiology Unit currently working to investigate the role of lifestyle and weight management to reduce long-term cardiovascular comorbidities among adults with type 2 diabetes.

Jean received her PhD in Epidemiology in 2018 from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her doctoral research focused on coronary heart disease among workers involved in the clean-up of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

Jean also holds an MSPH in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health and a BSc in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
