Jeff Scott

Jeff Scott is currently working in the role of Associate Professor with the Schulich School of Education at Nipissing University. Jeff teaches the science component for primary/junior Teacher Candidates emphasizing inquiry-based learning and experiential education. In his role as a Professor, Jeff has supervised student placements in a wide variety of settings, as well as worked collaboratively with Associate teachers, Principals and Pre-service teachers. Jeff completed his PhD at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT) in the area of curriculum studies; his thesis focused on the use of Virtual Field Trips with elementary school teachers and students.
