Jemma Tyson

Dr Jemma Tyson works at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, University of Portsmouth, since 2013. She has an undergraduate degree in Criminology with Psychology, a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and completed her PhD in 2019. This focused on the policing of disablist hate crime. engaging with both service users and service providers. She has published within the field of hate crime and policing, and is currently researching the issue of voluntary resignations from the police service.
