PhD Candidate in Cryospheric Remote Sensing, Durham University

I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Geography at Durham University. My research looks at supraglacial lakes on the East Antarctic Ice Sheet. Using satellites such as Sentinel 2 and Landsat 8, I measure how these lakes change over time, for example in extent and volume. Using remote sensing to improve our knowledge of how surface meltwater may influence ice dynamics in Antarctica helps us to understand how it is responding to our warming climate.
