Jennifer S Simpson

Jennifer S. Simpson is currently the Provost and Vice-President, Academic at Ryerson University in Toronto. Dr. Simpson has extensive teaching, research, and administrative experience in the areas of equity, racism and colonialism, the obligations of universities to the public good, critical theory and pedagogy, and communication. Administrative appointments include the roles of Chair and Associate Dean at the University of Waterloo and Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Memorial University. She began her current appointment on July 1, 2021.
