Assistant Professor of Sociology, Indiana University

I am an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Indiana University. My research examines how social interactions give rise to social inequalities. I am particularly interested in inequalities that result from interactions between individuals and institutions. Methodologically, my research is primarily ethnographic in nature. Substantively, I focus on issues related to education, family, culture, children and youth.
