Jessica Gildersleeve

Associate Professor of English Literature, University of Southern Queensland

Jessica Gildersleeve is Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Southern Queensland. Her research is concerned with the relationships between affect, literature and culture across the contemporary period.

Her most recent books include The Routledge Companion to Australian Literature (Routledge 2021), Elizabeth Bowen: Theory, Thought and Things (Edinburgh UP 2019), and Christos Tsiolkas: The Utopian Vision (Cambria 2017). Screening the Gothic in Australia and New Zealand: Contemporary Antipodean Film and Television (Amsterdam UP) is forthcoming later this year.
