Jessica Nealon

Lecturer in Medical Sciences (Neuroscience), University of Wollongong

Jessica is an academic in the School of Medical, Indigenous and Health Sciences at the University of Wollongong. Jessica has a PhD in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) both from the University of Wollongong.

Jessica's research interests include lipid alterations in the brain and body in people experiencing mental illness, delirium care in older people, and the use of digital technologies in anatomy education.

Jessica teaches neuroscience (anatomy and physiology) to graduate medical students and undergraduate health sciences students. Her passion is helping her students to understand the complexities of the nervous system, and uses a range of interactive activities and digital technologies to enhance the student learning experience.
