Jessica Trisko Darden

Associate Professor of Political Science, Virginia Commonwealth University

Jessica Trisko Darden is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Virginia Commonwealth University and Director of the Security and Foreign Policy Initiative at William & Mary’s Global Research Institute. Her research focuses on the intersection of conflict and international development. She is the author of "Aiding and Abetting: US Foreign Assistance and State Violence" (Stanford 2020) and co-author of "Women as War Criminals: Gender, Agency, and Justice" (Stanford 2020) and "Insurgent Women: Female Combatants in Civil Wars" (Georgetown 2019).
