Jessie Moritz is an expert on the politics of oil, economic diversification strategies, and state-society relations in the Persian Gulf. She completed her PhD at the Australian National University in 2017, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Princeton University. She now lectures at the Australian National University on political economy of the Middle East and the Gulf strategic environment.
