Jimmy Hay

I am a reseracher and film director, who teaches both film theory and practice at the University of Bristol. My current research is concerned with cinematic representations of grief, and the extent to which a phenomenological approach to film practice can help to explore the creative possibilities of capturing the lived-experience of grief on film.
