Joanna Merwood-Salisbury

Prof. Joanna Merwood-Salisbury is an architectural historian specializing in nineteenth and early-twentieth-century architecture and urban design in the United States. She also has an interest in the history of interior design practice and pedagogies. Joanna received her PhD from Princeton University and her Master of Architecture from McGill University. She has lectured and published widely on the Chicago School of architecture. She is a former Book Review Editor (Americas) for the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians and member of the editorial board of AA Files.
