Joanne Ruksenas

PhD Candidate, Music and Public Health, Griffith University

My research examines how active engagement with music effects the development of resilience in preschool children. I am a classroom and studio music teacher in mainstream and special education. I am particularly interested in how and why people engage with music (or not) and the impact this has on their lives.
