John Kilcullen taught Philosophy in the University of Toronto (1966-1970) and Politics at Macquarie University (1974-1999); and is now retired.

His research is in philosophy and the history of philosophy, especially political philosophy, and especially topics relating to freedom of thought, freedom of speech, religious and moral toleration and political liberalism. John's main current research project is a critical edition of Ockham, Dialogus.
