I write in the areas of literature (Pacific and Australian writing), the nature of culture (for instance, the religious origins of secular society, anthropoetics and other speculative approaches to the genesis of culture), multiculturalism and social analysis. I have taught in universities around this region (James Cook, Murdoch, Western Sydney, Charles Sturt, the University of the South Pacific).
