Jonathan Albright

Researcher and professor/lecturer in communication, information, and journalism. Formerly at Columbia University ( Harvard's Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, and Elon University in North Carolina. I use quantitative, qualitative, and computational methods to study media, culture, and politics. My research area includes cross-platform analyses of socially-mediated events, digital forensics, and thematic data visualization to understand the impact of dis/misinformation and propaganda, developer/platform accountability, digital politics, advertising and tracking technologies, and the analysis of controversies using computational social science and open source intelligence methods.
