I have a PhD in US History from Cornell Univeristy, JD from Boalt Hall School of Law, UC California, Berkeley, and BA from Yale University. I have taught courses in Constitutional Law, History and Politics at Bard College, Harvard University, University of Minnesota, and Hamline University School of Law. I have published extensively in a wide variety of fora from legal, social science, and biomedical journals to magazines aimed at a popular audience such and Scientific American and Anthropology Now. My most recent book, "Race in a Bottle: The Story of BiDil and Racialized Medicine in a Post-Genomic Age" was published by Columbia University Press in 2012.
