Joost C. Dessing

I am a human movement scientist working in the School of Psychology of Queen's University Belfast, where I teach research methods and perception. My research focuses on eye-hand coordination, specifically how humans position and time interceptive hand movements. This research spans from fundamental (probing the neural basis of interception) to applied (probing interceptive behaviour in ball sports). Since recently, I am also studying the coordinated movement of humans and robots in manufacturing contexts.
