I originally graduated with an MPhys in Astrophysics at the University of Manchester in 2015 and then obtained a PhD in Renewable Energy from the University of Exeter in 2019 by investigating materials for more efficient solar cells.
I also have experience working with local government and the non-profit sector, developing feasibility studies for community energy projects which act on fuel poverty. My current research interest is the availability, granularity, interdependences and visualisation of energy data to aid the design of smart local energy systems and help local authorities pursue decarbonsiation agendas.
