Joseph McGrath

Joe McGrath is the Programme Leader and Principal Lecturer for BA (Hons) Marketing, MA Marketing, MSc Digital Marketing and is also a member of the Senior Management Team within Liverpool Business School. Liverpool John Moores University.

Joe graduated in 1989 from Liverpool Polytechnic. On graduation he joined Bass p.l.c. where his roles included senior executive positions in both marketing and operations management.

Seeking a change in career direction he graduated in 2003 from Manchester Business School with an MBA. After this he worked on a number of large scale consultancy projects, became involved in a variety of start-up companies, as well as undertaking part-time evening lecturing. In 2009 he became a full-time member of the teaching staff at LJMU and obtained a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in 2014.

Joe is also a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), elected 2010.
