British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, Politics and International Relations, University of Sheffield

I am a moral and political philosopher interested in human/animal relationships and the philosophy of food. I am presently a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield, where I am working on a project called Food Justice and Animals: Feeding the World Respectfully. I have previously worked at the University of York in England and Queen's University in Ontario, and was educated at Queen's University Belfast and Lancaster University.

I am a section editor of the journal Politics and Animals and a member of the Research Advisory Committee of the Vegan Society. I host a regular animal studies podcast called Knowing Animals.
