Joshua Boston is an assistant professor of political science at Bowling Green State University. His teaching and research examine American political institutions, with a strong focus on judicial politics and legal institutions. Josh's research is motivated by questions of judicial decision-making, separation of powers, identity and representation on courts, and public support for legal institutions. Josh's research projects employ Python programming, data mining and analysis, and survey experiments. Across his research agenda, Josh has published in journals including Public Opinion Quarterly, the Journal of Law & Courts, Political Science Quarterly, Congress & the Presidency, and PS: Political Science & Politics.
