Joshua Forstenzer

Vice-Chancellor's Fellow for the Public Benefit of Higher Education, University of Sheffield

Joshua has a PhD in Philosophy, an MA in Political Theory and a BA in Politics and Philosophy, all from the University of Sheffield.

Joshua is currently the Vice-Chancellor's Fellow for the Public Benefit of Higher Education, Honorary Fellow in Philosophy and Associate Fellow of the Crick Centre at the University of Sheffield.

His primary research is on John Dewey, American Pragmatism, democratic theory and democratic education. His current research project focuses on developing a civic philosophy of higher education.
