Joshua Trey Barnett

Joshua Trey Barnett is a rhetorical theorist and critic who has written on the topics of ecology, environmental justice, visual culture, and gender and sexuality. He is an assistant professor of rhetoric in the Department of Communication at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where he currently offers courses on "Philosophy and Rhetoric" and "Rhetorical Criticism." His scholarship has appeared in or is forthcoming from venues such as the Quarterly Journal of Speech, Communication, Culture & Critique, Environmental Communication, Southern Communication Journal, Communication Yearbook, Queer Studies in Media and Popular Culture, TSQ: Transgender Studies Quarterly, Environmental Humanities, and elsewhere.
