Judi Atkins is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at Aston University. She has published widely on rhetoric and ideology in British politics and her latest book, 'Conflict, Co-operation and the Rhetoric of Coalition Government', was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2018. Judi currently holds a Leverhulme Research Fellowship for her project 'Envisioning Britain and Britishness: The Queen's Christmas Message', which explores continuity and change in the rhetoric of national identity since 1952.
