Judith Verweijen

Judith Verweijen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations & International Organization at the University of Groningen. Judith’s research examines the interplay between violence, conflict and armed mobilisation, including around natural resources. She focuses on eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, where she has conducted extensive field research since 2010.
