Judy Lawrence

PhD in Public Policy on the adequacy of institutions for climate change adaptation and Masters in Geomorpholog. Coordinating lead Author for the IPCC Assessment Report 6 Australasia Chapter 11. Judy has held senior positions in the New Zealand Government in the environment and natural resource management portfolios, was Director of the Climate Change Office; Advisor at the OECD Environment Directorate on Sustainable Development; CoChair of the Government's Climate Change Adaptation Technical Working Group. Judy's research interests span cascading climate change impacts and implications, dynamic adaptive policy pathways planning and adaptation applications; flood risk and coastal hazards and climate change adaptation.
