Researcher-practitioner in substance use with a background in social work specifically human rights and access to support in rural and remote Australia. Julaine has been a CSU social work academic since 2000. She has worked in mental health, child protection and vocational education. Her current research investigates the implementation of psycho-social interventions for substance dependence.
Julaine is Deputy CEO of Lyndon and a conjoint academic at the National Drug And Alcohol Research Centre at UNSW.
