Researcher-practitioner in substance use with a background in social work specifically human rights and access to support in rural and remote Australia. Julaine has been a CSU social work academic since 2000. She has worked in mental health, child protection and vocational education. Her current research investigates the implementation of psycho-social interventions for substance dependence and the provision of drug and alcohol services.
Julaine is National Research Manager at Lives Lived Well, Honorary Senior Research Fellow at University of QLD and conjoint academic at the National Drug And Alcohol Research Centre at UNSW.
