Justine is a PhD candidate at the Queensland University of Technology undertaking research into the Australian Modern Slavery Act and fashion companies' responsibility for structural injustice. Working as a Research Assistant since 2019, Justine is involved in the CRDC funded project "Strategies for improving labour conditions within the Australian cotton value chain", and has undertaken several political consumerism research projects.
