Justine Coneybeer

Research Assistant - Creative Industries Faculty, School of Design, Queensland University of Technology

Justine is a dedicated professional who is deeply passionate about human rights and sustainability issues within the fashion system. After completing her two Bachelors in Business and Fashion, she moved to Cambodia to gain experience in a fashion social enterprise and gather a practical understanding of the social and environmental issues with the fashion industry. Justine is now undertaking a Master of Philosophy research project that intends to remedy the sustainability gaps within fashion social enterprises. Additionally, she is a researcher for the CRDC funded project "Strategies for improving labour conditions within the Australian cotton value chain".
