Jyoti Gosai

Jyoti Gosai joined NTU in February 2023 as a Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology. She is the module lead for the Sport Project & Dissertation undergraduate module as well as for the postgraduate MRes Sport Research Methods module. Jyoti is also a doctoral researcher completing her PhD at Loughborough University, her PhD is focussed on the stereotypical gender biases that women face within coaching.

Research areas:
Jyoti's research interests centre predominantly around gender and coaching. With a keen interest in various research areas such as: coach behaviours, athlete perception of coaching, gender related similarities and differences in coaching, women coaches experiences of coaching, and psychological safety.
