Kai Mausch is a Senior Economist with World Agroforestry (ICRAF), based in Kenya, and has been working on rural development for more than 10 years in Africa and Asia, exploring solutions to rural poverty from both the agricultural- as well as the non-agricultural perspective. His current interests include impact assessment, adoption behaviour and incentives as well as the importance of people’s aspirations on decision making.
