PhD Candidate, GPEM, The University of Queensland

Kat Grigg is a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland within the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management (GPEM). Her research is focused on carbon markets, mangroves and commercial fisheries in South East Asia. Kat's principal supervisor is Dr Paul Dargusch under the CarbonLab research group.

Kat holds an Information Technology/Law degree from QUT and a Masters in Environmental Management from the University of Queensland. She has worked for 10 years in the commercial sector as an entrepreneur, investor, and software developer and works casually as an ecologist field assistant.
